My friend Mark Tolstrup, a muscular bluesman in the Delta style, and Jon Short, who plays a fine bottleneck slide, are also on the bill that night. It's going to be outstanding music the whole evening!
Bob Beach, a top-notch blues harp player, and I will be teaming up to play a selection of Fitzgerald and Beach tunes, and some of mine as well. Blues picker and songwriter DC Fitzgerald passed on November 13, bringing to an end several fruitful years of collaboration with Bob Beach. I hope to do justice to DC and the enjoyment he brought to listeners around the country.
