Pat Wictor in Orangeburg, NY--Sunday, December 7! and upcoming NJ shows

Dear folks--

I'm doing a rare show in Rockland County, this Sunday, returning to the Orangeburg library.  It's very close by, all my Northern NJ friends.  And the price?  A recession-busting FREE!  A great opportunity to invite friends and family, and share my music with them.  Here's the details:

Sunday, December 7, 2pm
Orangeburg Library
20 South Greenbush Road
Orangeburg, NY  10962

Other news:
•-My song "Simple Christmas" leads off the new Hudson Harding Christmas sampler, along side new Christmas songs by Jud Caswell, Tom Kimmel, Amy Speace, and others.  I'll have copies of the new sampler at the show.
•-I am "Mr. January" in the 2009 Naked Folk Calendar.  Yes, you didn't misread that.  The Calendar is an institution in folk music, a (tasteful and often humorous) collaboration between the Folk Alliance and photographer Jayne Toohey, to benefit musicians without health insurance.   I'll have copies at the show.  Sneak preview:

Mark the calendar:
**New Year's Eve: Wednesday, December 31 I'll be playing at First Night in Morristown, NJ, at the Presbyterian Chapel (on the Green), 57 Park Place, Morristown, NJ.
**May 16: Music at the Mission, West Milford, NJ!!  This is a "Saints and Sinners" show with my good friend, the incendiary bluesman Toby Walker.  Sparks will fly!

Have a great December, folks.  If you're doing anything weird, let me know--I'm gathering a list of weird activities for our weird times.  :-)

Warm regards,
Pat Wictor
