The Sun Shines!

The Sun Shines

With Thanksgiving coming this week, I wanted to share with you a new project that I'm very excited about (and grateful for).  This is a bit of a departure from my usual newsletters, but I couldn't help myself!

I've teamed up with my good friends Joe Jencks and Greg Greenway to form a harmony-singing band called Brother Sun.  Joe and Greg have both been touring solo for years, and have both made their mark as outstanding singers and songwriters.  After a one-off show together in Virginia, we knew there was a special chemistry together, and we needed to run with it.  Our harmonies are a feast of sound - powerful, soulful and moving, soaring with optimism, freedom, and promise.  It's a joy to sing with these guys!  (Can you tell I'm excited about this?)

We've got a slew of shows booked all around the Northeast, starting next next week - I hope you'll come and see us, bring friends, and spread the word!

Our website is http://www.brothersunmusic.com - stop on by and listen to some of our songs (video on the home page).  If you'd like to get the Brother Sun newsletter, you can sign up right on the home page (scroll down, lower left).  I'll also be listing Brother Sun shows on my website, and in this newsletter.  We'll have a facebook page up soon too - check the Brother Sun website in a few weeks.

Of course, I'll continue to play solo shows - plenty of those coming up too.  Now I've got a consistent outlet for my collaborative energies, and can balance those with the freedom and autonomy of solo shows.

Thanks for letting me toot my horn.  Back to our regularly scheduled programming next month.  :-)  Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones, and looking forward to seeing you soon!

Warm regards,
Pat
