One of the BIG shows of my life is coming up, and I'd love for you to be there!



Next week I'm playing at the BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown, MD, with Toby Walker as part of our "Saints and Sinners" series.  We sit onstage together, swapping songs and stories, and improvising up a storm.  There's a lot of laughs, and a lot of surprises.  It's an event, a one-of-a-kind show, the likes of which you won't see again (because we never do the same show twice! :-)   Here's the specs:

BlackRock is a lovely 200-seat theatre south of Baltimore, easily accessible from N.VA, southern MD, and DC.  For those of you with a small drive to get there, I guarantee it'll be worth it!  Please tell friends and family--they'll have a great time, and this will be an excellent introduction to both my and Toby's music.



Toby Walker is a dear friend, and simply one of the finest performers and guitar players I've ever heard.  He's a volcano of energy, guitaristic inventiveness, impish wit, and knows his blues in the deepest way (having done field work all over the South).  I love doing shows with him.   www.littletobywalker.com



I'll also be doing some songs from my forthcoming CD, "Sunset Waltz," which will be available in early May (in a few weeks!).  More on the new CD soon--I'm really excited with how it's come together!
