This is one of the ongoing series of Phil Ochs Nights, hosted by Phil's sister Sonny Ochs.  It's a great lineup of performers:  I'll be joining Kim and Reggie Harris, Greg Greenway, John Flynn, and Magpie.  We'll be doing some collaboration, and some outstanding versions of Phil Ochs songs, as well as some originals.



I've recorded two versions of Phil Ochs songs on "Sunset Waltz":  "That's the Way It's Gonna Be," and "Changes," both of which reveal new moods and meanings in the songs.  I've come to understand Phil Ochs as not only a perceptive and progressive commentator on the state of the world, but a great writer of melodies and a poet of the highest order.



It's an honor to return to Walkabout Clearwater Coffeehouse, so soon after my show here with Joe Crookston.  I'm looking forward to it very much!
