Dear friends and fans--



This weekend will be one of my few Friday shows in NYC--come on out, and bring friends!   It's a show with my good friend John Shain, a great Piedmont-style picker and songwriter from Durham, North Carolina.  We're going to swap songs, improvise behind each other, banter, and generally have a good time.

I've been playing at the Living Room frequently, and they've given us a good shot with a Friday show.  It's comfortable, with great sound and sight lines, delicious drinks, and a great listening environment.  There's street parking in the East Village, unlike most of the rest of Manhattan.
